The VI-SEEM project has been presented through discussions and materials distribution at the 3rd Annual Seminar of the Disaster Risk Management Knowledge Centre, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, 26-27 April 2018. The principal activities of the DRMKC are to improve the science-based services and analysis; to enhance the use and uptake of research and operational knowledge; and to advance science and technology in Disaster Risk Management (DRM). At this conference, new mechanisms and technologies for responding emergencies were discussed. The conference was under the auspices of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
