The Institute of Emergency Medicine with support of VI-SEEM project team in Moldova organized the training event with the aim to bring together and raise awareness of specialists in medical imagistic, practical physicians, medical researchers, medical equipment engineers, medical systems developers interested to understand special features of “DICOM Network” informational system in order to share experiences and knowledge as well as to investigate the possibility of creating of common best practices in the area of medical images processing. During the event practical training and hands on sessions with doctors and other medical staff who is planning to use “DICOM Network” for their practices were organized. During the meeting was discussed future “DICOM Network” system development in context of usage of VI-SEEM project infrastructure and regional computing resources for system enhancement.
